SOURCE: main seal

First is it a front seal ,or rear main seal,(front seal, being were you see the pulleys and fan belts,,you have to look at the bottom pulley, follow the shaft to the motor, where the shaft goes into the motor is the front seal, the pulley and everthing behind it has to come out then you pull out the seal, auto zone actually has free tool rental that you can pull the seal, and a tool to put it back in,if a rear main seal its where the shaft from the transmission meets the back of the motor, youll have to pull the trannsmission back, check where you see the oil leek from, streetfighter fairings the front seal you can do if mechanically inclined, but if its the rear you should take to a mechanic,if this helps please give me a fix ya vote

SOURCE: 1993 TOYOTA TERCEL 1500cc Valve Seals Replaced now smokes much worse

You either have had the wrong valve seals installed, they are physically missing, or the valves are incorrect (too loose in the guides/stem too thin). The rocker arm seals will not contribute to your issue. If it did not have the oil smoke before you took the head off, the issue is with whatever the machine shop did. Valve seals have to fit TIGHT, or oil will go down the valve stem into the intake.

Take the head back to the machine shop tell them to fix it. For free. cbr 500r fairings

How To Repair Honda Shadow Fork Seals Part 1

Feb 17, 2012 1985 Honda VT 500 C Shadow

There is a drain bolt on the bottom left side of the motor. It looks like a tappet cover because it is used as a tappet cover on other Honda models. If you look at your tappet covers on your head(valve cover) you will see what your drain plug looks like down by your counter shaft sprocket. If you take off the drain bolt/tappet cover the dirty oil will pour out. Be careful not to over tighten the cover when your put it back , the outer edge is designed to break if you put too much muscle in to it. gsxr 600 fairing kit You only need to snug it up enough so the o ring seals the oil and the cover does not come loose.
